What's it all about?

The Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) consists of a range of work categories within the gas industry. You will take a core assessment followed by any number of appliance assessments.

Course information

The course is assessment based and usually consists of a combination of practical and theory examinations. The Gas Safe Register will be notified of all certification results via ERS, the awarding body.

Please note: this is not a training programme.

You will need to wear standard personal protective equipment.

For those who have a recognised industry qualification to undertake gas work and who are, or have previously been registered with the Gas Safe Register and current ACS qualifications have expired longer than 12 months.

Proof of previous certifications will be required to conform to entry requirements.
