A career in hair and make-up artistry can be exciting and extremely fulfilling. No two days are ever the same, giving you the opportunity to truly explore your creative side.

Course information

This course will cover the following topics:

  • fashion and photographic make-up
  • media make-up
  • camouflage make-up
  • airbrush make-up
  • designing and applying face and body art
  • creative hairdressing design and style skills.

To succeed on this course, you must have a relevant art qualification, industry experience, or a level 2 qualification in hairdressing, beauty therapy, or makeup artistry.

All work will be assessed through written assignments, online exams, practical observations and working to a set brief.

Following successful completion of this course, you can progress to one of the following courses:

You may also be able to progress into employment or self-employment with production companies as a junior make-up artist.
