What's it all about?

Ready to jumpstart your career while learning and earning at the same time? An Apprenticeship is a great way for you to dive straight into your chosen career. You’ll split your time between learning on the job with experienced professionals and attending the College to gain essential knowledge. It’s hands-on, practical, and you’ll be earning a qualification while you work. Expect to build real skills, make connections, and have fun getting a head start in your future career!

As an Early Years Educator, you’ll take on a central role in creating and delivering high-quality educational experiences that lay the groundwork for children’s future success. You will work in a variety of environments, such as nurseries, preschools, and early years settings, where your expertise will support the cognitive, emotional, and social growth of young children.

Your duties will encompass a wide array of responsibilities, including designing and implementing age-appropriate learning activities, observing and assessing children’s developmental progress, and tailoring educational strategies to meet individual needs. You’ll ensure that each child is supported in a safe and nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive relationships.

Training as an Early Years Educator will equip you with the skills to work closely with parents and caregivers, providing guidance and feedback on children’s development. You’ll also learn to uphold the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards, ensuring that your educational practices are inclusive, promote equality and diversity, and foster a love of learning in every child.
