What's it all about?

If you’re looking for a way to turn a passion for gaming into a legitimate career path, this course is the ultimate starting point. This isn’t just about playing games – it’s about understanding the massive global industry behind the screen.

Designed for individuals who want to build a foundation in the competitive gaming world, this qualification blends technical skills with essential “soft skills” that employers crave.

You will: gain insights into how esports events are organised, how teams are managed, and how the industry generates billions in revenue

  • develop transferable skills including sharpening your communication, teamwork, and digital literacy – skills that are just as valuable in a boardroom as they are in a tournament.

A clear pathway: this level 1 diploma serves as a rock-solid stepping stone to level 2 and level 3 BTECs, or direct entry into junior roles within the creative and digital sectors.

Hands-on learning: focus on practical projects rather than just sitting through lectures. You’ll learn by doing, creating, and competing.
