As a Hospitality Team Member, you’ll develop essential skills and deliver exceptional customer service across various settings, including bars, restaurants, hotels, and more. In this diverse role, you will specialise in areas such as food and beverage service, housekeeping, reception, and concierge services. This Apprenticeship focuses on honing your hospitality skills, understanding customer needs, and working collaboratively to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. Course information

This apprenticeship will cover various areas including:

  • food and beverage services
  • alcoholic beverage services
  • barista
  • housekeeping
  • concierge and guest services
  • reservations
  • conference and events operations.
This Apprenticeship spans 12 months, combining practical work experience with study. At least 20% of your time will be dedicated to off-the-job training, where you’ll gain valuable knowledge and skills through structured learning and hands-on practice. The remaining 80% will be spent working within an organisation, applying your learning in real-world hospitality tasks such as delivering excellent customer service, understanding and meeting guest requirements, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and effectively managing reservations and events.

The entry requirements for this Apprenticeship will be decided by the employer, but may typically be five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above.

The end point assessment will consist of an on-demand test, a practical observation, a business project and a professional discussion. 

Following successful completion, you could progress onto employment within the sector.
