About the course

Are you a plumber looking to upgrade your qualification to a full NVQ Level 3? This part-time course at City College Plymouth is designed to allow those with the NVQ Level 2 and the 6035 Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing to upgrade your qualification to the full NVQ Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Heating Gas Fired Water and Wet Central Heating Systems.

What you'll learn

This course consists of on-site assessments, 11 multiple-choice gas papers, independent gas assessments, unvented hot water assessments and WRAS assessments.

Entry requirements

You will need to hold a level 3 6035 Diploma in Plumbing and an NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating. You will also need to be working in the plumbing industry.

Assessments/Exams

You will be assessed by 11 multiple-choice gas papers, a WRAS closed book exam, a WRAS open book exam and an unvented open book exam.

Fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2020/21 (August 2020 – July 2021). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2021/22.
