This course is aimed at operatives wanting to install, service or repair unvented domestic hot water systems.

Course information

Initial training will be provided describing the working principles, installation, service and fault diagnosis of unvented hot water systems. Delivery will be based on compliance with the Building Regulations G3. 

You will be required to wear standard personal protective equipment. 

You will need to have a minimum of 12 months’ experience in one of the following sectors: plumbing, heating and ventilation, gas, refrigeration, electrical or oil.

Assessment methods will be a combination of practical and theory examinations.

You may progress to a range of other courses at the College.
