What's it all about?

If the roar of a well-tuned Harley-Davidson gets your blood pumping, this is the course for you.

Suitable for aspiring Motocross stars or those who dream of owning their own motorcycle repair business, you can hone your skills and expand your knowledge in our fully equipped workshop where you will be encouraged to deepen your understanding through lots of of hands-on learning. You will be taught by industry-experienced lecturers who will also support your developing customer service skills, your understanding of health and safety legislation, and who will encourage you to find your place in the industry.

As the world changes, so do our courses, so not only will you be able to work confidently on the classics, but you will also acquire the skills that more and more employers are seeking as the demand for electric and hybrid vehicles increases and our lecturers will make sure that you enter employment ready to adapt as the industry does.

Course information

This course will give you the essential knowledge needed to make your way in today’s motorcycle industry. You will also gain a broad knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace, and other skills associated with working on competition vehicles, and as a Google Reference College, you will also develop a variety of digital skills that will make your CV stand out.

This diploma is part of a full-time study programme which also includes:

  • English and maths
  • work experience
  • other activities to develop your personal skills e.g. preparing you for employment, training or higher/further education.

There are no specific entry requirements, however you must show a willingness to engage and a genuine interest in the course that will enable you to progress into employment or further education.
