Our accredited Foundation Degree in Sports Therapy and Injury Rehabilitation will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to excel as a sports therapist. The programme covers key areas, including anatomy and physiology, injury pathophysiology, sports massage, strength and conditioning, injury prevention, clinical assessment and treatment, pitchside trauma, sports nutrition, sports rehabilitation, sports research, clinical practice, and manual therapy. 

With the Premier League reporting that individual player injuries were at their highest level in the 2023/24 season, and many players experiencing multiple injuries, this course will prepare you to treat and rehabilitate injured athletes. You will also learn to collaborate with other professionals to help prevent injuries.

Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to earn additional industry qualifications in areas such as emergency first aid and fitness instructing.
Our expert instructors in sports therapy, health and fitness, strength and conditioning, exercise physiology, and sports science will provide you with a comprehensive education in sports therapy and injury rehabilitation. You will gain insights into the various roles within a dynamic and multi-skilled sports medicine team.
