Not only will this 24-week course give you an array of skills to help you find employment within hospitality sector, it will also provide you with the confidence to take every opportunity that comes your way and is ideal for self-development. There is plenty of scope to incorporate your own ideas and to really make this course your own.

Course information

The course is centred around basic food preparation and cooking. The dishes produced will encompass transferable skills that can be extended and applied to a multitude of other dishes to
extend your repertoire. 

The course is very practical in nature with lots of hands-on learning and the chance to discover and explore your own interests, and with regular high-quality feedback, you can be sure of quick progress.

Please be aware, this course will require you to purchase kit/uniform to allow you to participate in the practical sessions. We will provide further information once you have been offered a place on the course.

No previous experience or qualifications are necessary for this course.

Assessment is via a mixture of practical tasks and short tests.

On successful completion of this course, you could progress to study the part-time Level 2 Diploma in Culinary Skills.
